GLORIOUS WORD DEVOTIONAL

21/05/2022

WORK OUT THE PROPHECY

(Luke 2:37) and this woman was a widow of about eighty-four years, who did not depart from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.

When you study God’s Word, you will notice that there are certain things God does on His own, but for most prophecies, some work has to be done on the part of the receiver. By this, I mean there is the need to work out the prophecy. This may involve fastings, prayers, positive confessions, giving in Church, singing songs of praise and others. We know how the birth of Jesus was prophesied by Isaiah and many others (Isaiah 7:14). But to get this prophecy fulfilled, there were men and women like Anna and Simon who were praying and fasting for the birth of Jesus (Luke 2:25-38).

As an example, you will notice the Bible saying ‘and Anna served God with fastings and prayers night and day’ in Luke 2:37. Why the fastings and prayers? Simply to get God’s will done on earth as it is in heaven. Prophecy reveals God’s desire for you, but sometimes you need fastings and prayers to work out the prophecy. Spend time in fasting and prayers today as you work out all the good prophecies that have come to you. At the same time, cancel the negative ones you might have been told. Halleluyah!

Confession: As I fast and pray today, all the desires of God for me, which has come to me in the form of prophecies are fulfilled. I am a child of prophecy so I win by prophecy. I win wherever I go. I dominate my environment, the economy, my career, and everything that has to do with my life by the power of the Holy Ghost. Halleluyah!

Say this if you have never been born again. I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.

Congratulations

You can begin to attract God’s goodness into your life from today.
