GLORIOUS WORD DEVOTIONAL

BY PASTOR BERNARD EFA

NOVEMBER 20, 2022

TRUST IN HIM AND BE SAFE

(Proverbs 29:25) “The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe."

Interpreting our theme Scripture from the original tongue; we can say “shaking and trembling before a mortal man will always become a trap for you: but if you put your hope and confidence in the self-existent, eternal God, Jehovah, the creator of all things, visible and invisible, the Supreme Being, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ; you will be safe and secure for He shall be your defense on any day.

Beyond this, he will ensure He lifts you so high that you become the standard for others to follow. From today, stop building your confidence on the number of credentials you have acquired, human connections, money in your bank account, and things like that. Let your confidence and hope be in the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ, whom He has appointed heir of all things, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or power (Colossians 1:16).

That way, He shall rise to your defense all the time. Stay in prayer and declare that the “LORD, you are my confidence and hope in this life, so I am safe”. Add that “you will move forward and upward only by the power of the Holy Ghost”. Hallelujah!

Confession: I refuse to quake before men. My confidence and hope are in the Father of my Lord Jesus Christ. He takes me to lofty and high places all the time. I will always be on top wherever I find myself by the power of the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah!

Say this if you have never been born again. I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.

Congratulations

You can begin to attract God’s goodness into your life from today.
