GLORIOUS WORD DEVOTIONAL

07/08/2021

THE PLACE OF SAFETY

(Psalms 91:1) He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most-High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty is one of the most popular scriptures in the Bible. But not too many understand this scripture. This scripture starts by saying ‘He who dwells’ referring to anyone (irrespective of your nationality) who is settled in the Most-High. It continues as ‘in the secret place of the Most-High’ meaning the special place designed by the Most-High (Almighty God) where you can enjoy maximum covering, protection, and security.

Then it adds ‘shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty’ which means such a person will enjoy defense from God Almighty. So the question is what is this secret place? That place is CHRIST (Ephesians 2:6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus). If you are in Christ you are in the place of safety for this is the secret place the Psalmist spoke about in Psalms 91:1. Halleluyah!

Meditation: ((Psalms 91:1) He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Activity: Spend time in prayer today. Declare that you are in the place of safety for you are in Christ.

Confession: The safest place is Christ. I am glad I am in Him. Christ is the secret place of the Most-High. Since I am in Him, I abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I am in the place of safety. Halleluyah!

If you have never been born again then make the confession below.

I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.

Congratulations

You can begin to attract God’s goodness into your life from today.
