GLORIOUS WORD DEVOTIONAL

27/10/2021

CULTIVATE AN INDIVIDUAL PRAYER LIFE

(Mathew 6:6) But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

The Word of God encourages us to pray together, which many of us do, but not too many have an individual prayer life. This is extremely dangerous. As a Christian, you should have an individual prayer life- for example praying thirty, forty, fifty, sixty minutes etc. every day apart from the cooperate prayers. There are certain things the Holy Spirit can do in you only when you are alone with Him. During such times, He rubs Himself on you like how you cream yourself. With time, His anointing on you will become huge. Then your words become extremely powerful. Anything you say just happens quickly. Don’t wait for too long- cultivate this character if you don’t have an individual prayer life. Our theme scripture describes such a prayer. It is a time where you are alone with Jesus. Cultivate an individual prayer life to build your spirit strong. Halleluyah!

Meditation: (Mathew 6:6) But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

Activity: Spend time in prayer and fellowship with the Spirit of God. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you develop an individual prayer life.

Confession: I love the Holy Spirit and I don’t joke with my time of fellowship with Him. He is the source of my anointing and fire. Halleluyah!

If you have never been born again then make the confession below.

I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.

Congratulations

You can begin to attract God’s goodness into your life from today.
